We decided to start FieldSide Thrift as we were tired of sifting through pages to find quality, second hand or unwanted items specific to our favourite sports and lifestyle – whether that be equestrian clothes or rugs with size filters to races attire.

FieldSide Thrift is all about clear categories and simple but effective filters to make marketplace shopping easy, find your perfect item for a great price and clear space in your wardrobe, shed, garage or barn while you are doing it.

Behind the screen:

I have had horses since I can remember, my mum has had horses since the age of 16, taking to Eventing, Hunting and most enjoyably hacking. I have spent years spending fortunes of pounds on brand new equestrian equipment, whenever I took up a new area of the sport, or giving something a try, or even just for leisure/general care – if only there was somewhere efficient to sell it! Therefore, I came up with the idea for FieldSide Thrift – a website specifically for specific sports and country.

David has been fishing since a child, a family traditional that will hopefully continue for many years. His love of fishing has led to a barn AND shed full of equipment for all different types of fishing that he never uses. David enjoys long walks, walking the dog while I ride and spending days off work fishing in the peaceful countryside with a cup of tea by his side.
