- General Refund Guidelines:

- Buyer must report issue to Fieldside Thrift by clicking ‘Return request’ and filling out relevant details within 2 days from when buyer receives item or has not received (exceeded expected delivery date/no tracking provided, tracking not delivered or no parcel sent) – this will hold funds in escrow until issue resolved.
- If buyer doesn’t report issue in 2 days of receiving / expected date – funds in escrow will be released to seller.
- Eligibility for Refunds:

- Non-delivery,
- Drastic misrepresentation of the item or service – e.g., wrong sizing, damage not described in item listing
- Refund Request Process:

These Stripe Connect Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your use of payment processing services provided by Stripe, Inc. (“Stripe”) through Fieldside Thrift (“Platform”). By using Stripe Connect, you agree to be bound by this Agreement, Stripe’s Services Agreement, and any other relevant agreements or policies provided by Stripe.
2. Definitions
- “Platform”: Refers to Fieldside Thrift, the online marketplace that facilitates transactions between buyers and sellers using Stripe Connect for payment processing.
- “User”: Refers to any individual or business entity using the Platform for buying or selling goods or services.
- “Stripe Connect”: Refers to the service provided by Stripe that enables the Platform to process payments, including the collection, transfer, and management of funds.
3. Relationship with Stripe
- Independent Services: Stripe Connect is an independent third-party service provider. Fieldside Thrift and its Users acknowledge that Stripe is solely responsible for the payment processing services provided through Stripe Connect.
- Stripe Agreement: By using Stripe Connect, Users also agree to be bound by Stripe’s Services Agreement, which is available at Stripe’s Services Agreement.
4. User Responsibilities
- Accurate Information: Users must provide accurate and complete information when setting up their Stripe Connect account and must keep this information updated.
- Compliance: Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those relating to anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing.
- Account Security: Users are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of their Stripe Connect account information.
5. Fees and Charges
- Platform Fees: The Platform may charge fees for using its services. These fees will be clearly communicated to Users and may be subject to change.
- Stripe Fees: Stripe charges fees for payment processing, which will be deducted from the transaction amount. Users agree to pay these fees as outlined in Stripe’s pricing policy.
6. Payouts
- Disbursement: Funds collected via Stripe Connect will be disbursed to Users according to the payout schedule provided by Stripe. The Platform is not responsible for delays or issues related to the disbursement of funds by Stripe.
- Disputes: Any disputes regarding payouts should be directed to Stripe. The Platform may assist in resolving issues but is not liable for payout disputes.
7. Refunds and Chargebacks
- Refund Policy: Users must clearly communicate their refund policies to buyers. The Platform and Stripe will process refunds in accordance with these policies.
- Chargebacks: In the event of a chargeback, Users are responsible for providing necessary documentation to Stripe to resolve the dispute. The Platform is not liable for chargebacks or associated fees.
8. Termination and Suspension
- Termination by User: Users may terminate their use of Stripe Connect by following the termination procedures outlined in Stripe’s Services Agreement.
- Termination by Platform: The Platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate a User’s access to Stripe Connect for any reason, including but not limited to violation of this Agreement, fraudulent activity, or legal requirements.
- Effect of Termination: Upon termination, any pending transactions will be processed, but no new transactions will be accepted.
9. Limitation of Liability
- Platform Liability: The Platform is not liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from the use of Stripe Connect. Users agree to hold the Platform harmless from any such claims.
- Stripe Liability: Stripe’s liability is governed by its Services Agreement. Users acknowledge that Stripe is responsible for payment processing and related services.
10. Amendments
The Platform reserves the right to amend this Agreement at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of Stripe Connect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Stripe Connect Key Service Agreement T&Cs (3rd Party Payment Provider):
This agreement governs Connected Accounts’ use of Stripe Connect Services, and describes how Connected Accounts and their third-party platform provider(s) may use the Stripe Connect Services. This Stripe Connected Account Agreement (“Connected Account Agreement”) forms a legal agreement between Stripe Payments Europe, Limited. (“Stripe”) and you or the entity you represent (“you” and “your”). This Connected Account Agreement governs your rights and obligations when your Stripe Account is enrolled with a third-party platform provider using Stripe Connect Services (“Stripe Connect Platform”). The Stripe Services Agreement is incorporated into this Connected Account Agreement by this reference. Capitalized terms not defined in this Connected Account Agreement (either inline or by hyperlink), are defined in the Stripe Services Agreement. To the extent that there is a conflict between the Stripe Services Agreement and this Connected Account Agreement related to your use of the Stripe Connect Services, this Connected Account Agreement will prevail.
You and Stripe agree as follows:
Stripe Connect Platforms can help you use the Services, which may include the Stripe Payments Services. A Stripe Connect Platform may help you to create your Stripe Account, or enroll your existing Stripe Account with the Stripe Connect Platform. A Stripe Connect Platform may conduct Activity on your behalf and act as a data controller to instruct Stripe to process Your Data (as defined below), as long as it does so according to your Platform Provider Agreement. Activity may be submitted, initiated or performed through the Stripe Dashboard or through the Stripe API, and this includes the communication of information about Transactions (if applicable), as well as other features as described in the Documentation. A Stripe Connect Platform may restrict your ability to (a) terminate the Stripe Connect Platform’s access to your Stripe Account; and (b) view, access or activate certain Services. You should read your Platform Provider Agreement carefully to understand the nature of the Platform Services and the Activity that a Stripe Connect Platform may conduct on your behalf. Stripe is not a Stripe Connect Platform, and only provides the Services described in this Connected Account Agreement and the Stripe Services Agreement.
- Representation and Warranty; Your Responsibilities
You represent as of the Effective Date, and warrant at all times during the Term, that the information that you provide to Stripe directly or through a Stripe Connect Platform is accurate and complete. You are solely responsible for, and Stripe disclaims all liability for, the provision of goods and services sold to your Customers as part of your use of the Services, and any obligations you may owe to your Customers. If you use the Stripe Payments Services, you are always financially liable to Stripe for the full amount of all Disputes (including chargebacks), Refunds, and fines that arise from your use of the Stripe Payments Services, regardless of whether you have agreed to share this liability with a Stripe Connect Platform. These obligations are described in more detail in the Stripe Services Agreement.
Depending on how the Stripe Connect Platform has implemented the Stripe Connect Services, you may be able to directly manage your Stripe Account through the Stripe Dashboard. If you are able to access the Stripe Dashboard, you are responsible for all actions taken on your Stripe Account through the Stripe Dashboard. If you do not have access to the Stripe Dashboard, you must contact the Stripe Connect Platform if you need support or have any questions relating to the Services, this Connected Account Agreement or the Stripe Services Agreement.
- Relationship to Stripe Connect Platforms
Your Data:
(a) You instruct Stripe to (a) share any data it collects relating to you and to Activity on your Stripe Account (“Your Data”) with your Stripe Connect Platforms as necessary to provide you with the Stripe Connect Services and the Platform Services; and (b) process Your Data as described in this Connected Account Agreement and Stripe’s Privacy Policy. Your Data includes:
(i) data regarding your Transactions;
(ii) your Personal Data, and the Personal Data of your Representatives, employees, contractors and agents;
(iii) your Customers’ Personal Data; and
(iv) data regarding Activity on any Stripe Account you have enrolled with a Stripe Connect Platform.
(b) You acknowledge that Stripe Connect Platforms may share Your Data with Stripe.
(c) You represent as of the Effective Date and warrant to Stripe at all times during the Term that, to the extent you provide Personal Data to Stripe or instruct Stripe to collect Personal Data, you have provided all notices and obtained all rights and consents necessary to enable Stripe to lawfully collect, use, retain and disclose that Personal Data as described in this Connected Account Agreement, the Stripe Services Agreement and the Stripe Privacy Policy.
Pricing and Fees:
Stripe’s standard Fees for the Services are posted on the Stripe Pricing Page; but Stripe may have agreed to Fees with a Stripe Connect Platform that are different from these Fees. Stripe’s Fees will either be disclosed to you separately or will be consolidated with the fees for the Platform Services. Stripe does not control and is not responsible for fees imposed by a Stripe Connect Platform, which should be made clear to you in your Platform Provider Agreement. At the Stripe Connect Platform’s request, Stripe may deduct from your Stripe Account balance both Stripe’s Fees and the fees for Platform Services the Stripe Connect Platform specifies to Stripe.
- Disclaimer; Limitations on Stripe’s Liability
Stripe is not responsible for, and disclaims all liability arising from or relating to:
(a) any Stripe Connect Platform’s acts or omissions in providing services to you or your customers, or for any Stripe Connect Platform’s failure to comply with the terms of your Platform Provider Agreement;
(b) your obligations to your Customers (including to properly describe and deliver the goods or services being sold to your Customers); or
(c) your compliance with Laws and obligations related to your provision of goods or services to your Customers, or receipt of charitable donations, including any obligation to provide customer service, notify and handle refunds or consumer complaints, provide receipts, register your legal entity, and other actions not related to the Services.
This section is in addition to, and does not limit, the provisions of the Stripe Services Agreement that disclaim or limit Stripe’s liability.
- Other General Legal Terms
Term, Termination, and the Effects of Termination:
(a) The term of this Connected Account Agreement begins when you enroll your Stripe Account with a Stripe Connect Platform and continues until you or Stripe terminate this Connected Account Agreement under this Section. You may terminate this Connected Account Agreement by (a) closing your Stripe Account or (b) unenrolling your Stripe Account from all Stripe Connect Platforms. If after termination you register your Stripe Account with a Stripe Connect Platform again, this Agreement will apply starting on the date on which you register your Stripe Account with a Stripe Connect Platform again. Stripe may terminate this Connected Account Agreement at any time for any reason by notifying you.
(b) Terminating this Connected Account Agreement will not immediately terminate the Stripe Services Agreement. Stripe and you may only terminate the Stripe Services Agreement according to its terms. This Connected Account Agreement will automatically terminate if the Stripe Services Agreement terminates.
Stripe Services Agreement – Version:
The Stripe Services Agreement version incorporated into this Connected Account Agreement is the version that applies to your Stripe Account jurisdiction. If the name of your jurisdiction does not appear in the title of the page accessible via this Stripe Services Agreement link, please contact Stripe to obtain the correct link.
Stripe Connect Platforms may also use Stripe Connect to direct Stripe to send funds to Connected Accounts outside of Stripe Payments Services as described in Section 4.4 of the Stripe Connect Terms. These fund transfers are not associated with payments a Stripe Connect Platform collects on your behalf using the Stripe services. If you receive funds of this kind, you are not using the Stripe services, and this Connected Account Agreement does not apply to you. Also, you must contact the Stripe Connect Platform, not Stripe, with any questions you have about the status of these funds.
By using Stripe Connect on Fieldside Thrift, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement, as well as Stripe’s Services Agreement and any other applicable terms and conditions. Thank you for using our platform and services.

Buyer and Seller Interaction and Messages on Fieldside Thrift Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Interaction T&Cs”) govern the communication and interaction between buyers and sellers on Fieldside Thrift (“Fieldside Thrift”) provided by Fieldside Thrift (“Company,” “we,” or “us”). By using Fieldside Thriftand engaging in communication with other users, you agree to be bound by these Interaction T&Cs. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using the Fieldside Thrift’s messaging or communication features.
- Communication Channels:
- Fieldside Thrift provides communication channels, such as messaging systems to facilitate interaction between buyers and sellers.
- The purpose of these communication channels is to discuss and clarify details related to transactions, items, provide information, and address inquiries or concerns.
- Professional and Respectful Communication:
- Buyers and sellers are expected to communicate in a professional, respectful, and courteous manner.
- Any form of harassment, offensive language, or inappropriate behaviour in the communication is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension or termination.
- Transaction-Related Discussions:
- Communication between buyers and sellers should primarily focus on transaction-related matters, including item inquiries, negotiation, payment, delivery, and other transaction details.
- Buyers and sellers are encouraged to maintain clear and accurate communication to ensure a smooth transaction process.
- Prohibited Activities:
- Users are strictly prohibited from engaging in fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized activities during communication on the Fieldside Thrift.
- Users must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and these Interaction T&Cs when communicating with other users.
- Confidentiality and Privacy:
- Users should not share personal or sensitive information through the Fieldside Thrift’s communication channels.
- We strongly advise users to exercise caution and refrain from disclosing sensitive information, such as financial details, passwords, or personal identification numbers, through the Fieldside Thrift’s messaging systems.
- Reporting Inappropriate Behaviour:
- If you encounter any inappropriate or concerning behavior from another user during communication on the Fieldside Thrift, please report it to us immediately.
- We will review and take appropriate actions, which may include warning, suspending, or terminating the offending user’s account.
- Moderation and Monitoring:
- We reserve the right to monitor and moderate communication and messages exchanged on Fieldside Thrift to ensure compliance with these Interaction T&Cs and our policies.
- However, we do not assume responsibility for every message exchanged or guarantee the accuracy or reliability of the information shared between users.
- Liability:
- We are not responsible for any losses, damages, or liabilities arising from the content of messages exchanged between buyers and sellers on the Fieldside Thrift.
- Users are solely responsible for their own communication, interactions, and transactions.
- Modifications:
- We reserve the right to modify or update these Interaction T&Cs at any time.
- Any changes will be effective upon posting the revised version on the Fieldside Thrift.
- Your continued use of Fieldside Thrift after the changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Interaction T&Cs.

By accessing or using the Fieldside Thrift, you agree to be bound by these Liability T&Cs. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using the Fieldside Thrift.
- Limited Liability:
- You acknowledge and agree that your use of Fieldside Thrift is at your own risk.
- We provide Fieldside Thrift on an “as is” and “as available” basis, and we do not make any warranties or representations regarding its reliability, accuracy, completeness, or suitability for your needs.
- To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

- Buyer-Seller Transactions:
- Fieldside Thrift facilitates transactions between buyers and sellers, but we do not assume any liability for the conduct of buyers or sellers, or the quality, safety, or legality of the items or services listed on the Fieldside Thrift.
- Any disputes between buyers and sellers must be resolved directly between the parties involved, and we shall not be liable for any damages or losses arising from such disputes.
- Indirect and Consequential Damages:
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Fieldside Thrift.
- Limitation of Liability:
- In no event shall our total liability, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, exceed the total amount you have paid us, if any, for accessing or using Fieldside Thrift in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the liability.

- Notification of Account Restrictions or Blocks:

- Appeals and Account Reinstatement:

By accessing or using the Fieldside Thrift, you agree to be bound by these Governance T&Cs. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using the Fieldside Thrift.
- Fieldside Thrift Governance:

- Effect of Termination:

- Any ongoing transactions or activities may be cancelled or terminated at our discretion.
- Survival:

- Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

- Any legal actions or proceedings arising out of or in connection with these Governance T&Cs or your use of Fieldside Thrift shall be brought exclusively in the courts of the jurisdiction in which the Company operates.
